Germany: Pine lumber exports up 30%

In the first five months of 2014, German sawn pine lumber exports have increased by more than 30 percent both in volume and value. This is mainly due higher shipments to Germany's main customer, China, but also to large shipments to Egypt. In Europe, deliveries to the Netherlands went up by 53 percent in volume, while those to Belgium increased by almost 90 percent.
