Weyerhaeuser sees stronger lumber prices, but higher log costs cloud second-half outlook

North American forest products giant Weyerhaeuser delivered stronger second-quarter earnings as higher lumber prices lifted its Wood Products division, but the company warned that rising log costs and continued macroeconomic uncertainty are expected to weigh on profitability during the second half of the year.    The company reported net earnings of $162 million, or $0.23 per diluted share, on sales of $1.87 billion.
