Sweden: Lumber exports increase in February
In February, Swedish lumber exports have increased significantly both over January as well as compared to the same month last year. In February alone, 1.02 million cubic meters of softwood sawn and planed timber were exported. In January , there were just under 953,000 cbm, while in February 2013 just above 889,000 cbm. By the end of February, 1.98 million cubic meters were exported, 12.4% more than in the same period last year. Particularly, exports to Egypt have increased.
