At the beginning of the year the average price of wood pellets in Germany has slightly decreased, the German Energy Wood and Pellet Association (DEPV) reported. Thus, a tonne of pellets costs in average EUR 284.93. This is 0.2% less than in December. However, as compared to January 2013, the price is 8,8% higher.
