Russia proposes ban on wood exports to U.S. and EU until the end of 2022
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has proposed introducing a ban on the export of birch wood, plywood logs (raw materials for plywood production) and fuel chips to "unfriendly countries" by the end of 2022, the ministry said. "The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade has proposed introducing a ban on the export of timber and a number of products from it by the end of this year.
