Kastamonu starts large MDF and flooring plant in Russia
The Turkish company Kastamonu Entegre, one of the world's largest producers of wood-based panels, launched on 24 September a large mill in Russia, in the Alabuga special economic zone (Tatarstan). As Whatwood.ru reports, the investment amounted US$ 600 million. In the first stage, the company will produce at the mill around 475,000 m3 of MDF and 20 million m2 of wooden flooring.
