Kastamonu is now Russia’s largest MDF producer
The Turkish Kastamonu Entegre, one of the world's largest producers of wood-based panels, has presented at the 26th international furniture exhibition “Mebel-2014” in Moscow its products made at the company's new Russian mill, Whatwood.ru reported. The mill is located in the special economic zone “Alabuga” (Elabuga, Republic of Tatarstan), and the investment amounted to US$ 600 million. The major product at the factory is MDF.
