Germany: Drop in wood pellets price

At the beginning of the spring, in March, the cost of wood pellets in Germany has decreased by EUR 10/tonne on average, the German Energy Wood and Pellet Association (DEPV) reported. A tonne of pellets (for a 6t purchase) currently costs EUR 273.69, which represents a 3.5% decline over February.    'Due to a short warm winter, the traders' stocks of pellets are well filled.
