According to China Customs log imports totaled 18.82 million cubic meters valued at US$3.268 billion in the first half of 2024, down 7% in volume and 8% in value over the same period of 2023. The average price for imported logs was US$174 (CIF) per cubic meter, down 1% from the same period of 2023.
