Latvia’s forest industry generated €1.705 billion in export revenue in the first half of 2026, only 1.5% less than a year earlier. The headline figure, however, masks a pronounced shift in the export mix: pellet earnings jumped by more than 30%, while revenues from roundwood, lumber, particleboard, furniture and joinery products all declined.
