Latvia’s roundwood market showed a divided price trend in the first five months of 2026. Sawlog prices were generally stable, with the strongest upward movement recorded for spruce thick sawlogs, while pulpwood and fuelwood prices rose sharply on stronger demand from the pulp, paper and bioenergy sectors.
