US lumber price falls below $400
On Friday, the price of framing lumber fell to $399 per thousand board feet, according to Random Lengths. That marks the 11th consecutive week that the price of lumber is down. Since peaking at $1,515, an all-time high, on May 28, the cash market lumber price is down a staggering 74%.
