Ukraine: Trade Ministry suggests roundwood exports ban to be revoked
The Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine suggested that the ban on exports of roundwood has to be revoked. Apparently, the ban causes alarm among the EU member states, according to Interfax Ukraine. As Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister Maksym Nefyodov, said, some new mechanisms to protect the domestic market might be a better option. Also, these mechanisms should meet the requirements of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
