Trade of roundwood in Finland continued at a slow pace in February. In January and in February, a total of 4.5 million cubic metres of industrial roundwood were recorded in the wood trade statistics. It was 45 percent less than in the previous year. The trade of logs dropped by half and the trade of pulpwood by two fifths.
The average stumpage price for pine logs in Finland was EUR 53.7 per cubic metre, and the price for spruce logs was EUR 57.7 per cubic metre. These prices increased one percent from the previous month.
