Two North American sawmill suppliers are joining forces: USNR and Wood Fiber will become the biggest supplier in the world. US Natural Resources (USNR) and Wood Fiber Group have announced a merger that aims to create the world’s most comprehensive supplier of the equipment, technology and essential tooling used in wood processing facilities. USNR is an international supplier of sawmill and plywood mill machinery, aftermarket parts, and technical and engineering services. Wood Fiber Group supplies cutting tools, filing room equipment, and critical consumable products to the wood products industry, serving the North American market. SCA Wood considers merger in France with ISB
SCA Wood France and the French company Innovation Solutions Bois, ISB, are considering a merger of its operations on wood processing and distribution of wood products in France. The potential merger would result in a large and resourceful supplier of wood products to the French building material sector. "The French building materials sector develops over time in a positive direction and sharpens demands on the suppliers, regarding volume and product portfolio, as well as quality and service", says Jerry Larsson, President SCA Wood. The company will provide more information during the first quarter of 2019, given that discussions with ISB develop in a positive direction.
