Swedish forwarder market 2021 slowed by global boom
The data on the number of registered forwarders are now compiled and we can see that the Swedish forwarders market in 2021 shrank significantly compared to the record year 2020. This is a decrease from 451 registered forwarders in 2020 to 332 last year. According to the machine companies, it is the delivery capacity that has failed while the demand for forwarders is still high. Last year, we reported a record year for registered forwarders on the Swedish market. This year, 26 percent fewer machines have been registered. It may sound like a big difference but it actually makes 2021 a fairly normal year in historical comparison.
