Softwood timber prices in Austria stable in December
Prices of softwood timber in Austria were at a stable level in December 2016. Only the price of reserve squared timber moved slightly up at the end of the year. Otherwise, the prices are on a par from November. For boards' assortments the price range has increased. The lower limit price has fallen, while the upper has surged. Compared to December 2015, mainly rough boards are cheaper. Also edged boards' price declined slightly. Reserve square timber and boards registered minimal price movements.
