Sweden: Stock volumes of softwood sawlogs drop by 21%
Swedish softwood sawlogs stock volumes are estimated at about 2.1 million m3 in the Q2 of 2017. This represents a 21% decline, as compared to the same period last year. Also, the total stocks of coniferous sawlogs, pulpwood and wood chips is estimated at 7.3 million m3 (cubic meter solid volume excluding bark) as of 30 June 2017, a 12% decrease, as compared to the Q2/2016.
