Sweden: Martinsons to cease sawn timber production at Hällnäs sawmill due to high production costs
Martinsons will cease sawn timber production in Hällnäs sawmill in Sweden. There are 43 members of staff at the Hällnäs plant. Everyone will be offered employment in Bygdsiljum sawmill, when production ends in time for the 2018 summer holiday. The plan is now to sell existing machinery, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
