Sweden: Decreasing sawlog prices during 2Q/2014

The second quarter of 2014 shows decreasing sawlog prices in Sweden after a slight surge in the 1Q. Pine and spruce sawlogs are both cheaper by about EUR 2/per cubic meter. Pine logs cost now an average of EUR 48.82/cbm, while spruce logs were traded in the 2Q at EUR 53.94/cbm.    Pulpwood prices are higher as compared to the first quarter. Pine and spruce pulpwood have gained about EUR 0.70/cbm and are now priced at EUR 30.08/cbm and EUR 31.60/cbm respectively.     ...
