Softwood timber exports from Sweden continue to decrease
During January-August 2016, Sweden has exported about 8 million m2 of softwood timber. This represents a -5% decrease over the same period of 2015. Most of the exports to the world decreased, as compared to 2015. Main export markets for the Swedish softwood timber were the United Kingdom and Egypt, followed by Norway and Germany.
