Sierra Pacific plans new sawmill
Sierra Pacific, U.S. second-largest lumber producer is assembling a site at Frederickson in southern Pierce County (75 km south of Seattle, U.S.) to build a major new sawmill that could employ as many as 200 workers, says the News Tribune daily. Spokepersons of the company said that at the moment feasibility analysis is undergoing, to test the economical impact and the potential benefits and detriments of the site.
