Schweighofer plans huge sawmill in the Czech Republic

Schweighofer wants to build a large sawmill in Southern Bohemia, in Vodňan, Czech media recently reported. The only obstacle is that the decision should be taken after a local referendum, which should or not approve the construction of the new Schweighofer plant.    It is the fifth time when the Austrian company tries to acquire a site in the Czech Republic, but every time the company received refusals from the local communities.
