Schweighofer gets refusal for new sawmill in the Czech Republic
As the Austrian newspaper Wirtschaftsblatt reports, Schweighofer's plans to build a sawmill in Southern Bohemia (Vodňan) have been rejected by the local community. The municipal council of Vodňan has decided in majority against the project, according to the report. The local residents have expressed their concerns on the higher traffic that will occur if the sawmill was to be build, even if the 500 jobs would have halved the unemployment in the town.
