SCA reports sharp fall in its wood division on lower prices and higher costs
SCA’s wood division saw a 30% fall in EBITDA in 2022 compared to 2021, which it blamed on lower selling prices and higher costs. EBITDA was SEK2.07bn (2021: SEK2.96bn) for the year. Deliveries of sawn timber for the full year were down 2% to 2,022,000m3. Q4 2022 results show EBITDA reduced to SEK129m from SEK850m a year ago.
