Reduced logging volumes proposed in Estonian state forests
Estonian Environment Minister Madis Kallas presented the government with a proposal to lower state forest logging volumes. Despite the lack of government agreement, Kallas will not back down from the proposal. The government is also looking for a way to compensate the Estonian timber industry.
