Recovery in EU softwood lumber exports to China, as Germany pushes deliveries
Following a -32% drop in exports last year, European softwood lumber deliveries to China have recovered in the first five months of the year. While Nordic exports continued the negative trend recorded in 2018, the German deliveries are responsible for the overall 21% in rise the overall EU exports. The European Union countries sent 1.1 million m3 of softwood lumber to China, during the mentioned period, as compared to the 935 thousand m3 that they've sent in the first five months of 2018.
