Metsä Fibre prepares for longer production cuts at Joutseno pulp mill

Metsä Fibre has opened a second round of change negotiations at its Joutseno pulp mill in Finland, warning that weak pulp demand and conditions in the domestic wood market may require production to remain below normal for longer than previously expected.    The negotiations concern possible temporary layoffs and cover the mill’s entire workforce of approximately 160 employees.
