Lumber prices in the US keep up with growth trend
The prices for framing lumber in the US continued to go up through the end of January. While long mill order files and transportation delays caused a greater focus on the secondary market, a slower pace was reported at Canadian S-P-F mills. Prices posted uneven gains, while gains in the West were sharp and unrelenting, with some in the $40s and even $50s for the week.
