Increased lumber prices in the US offsets the duties on Canadian softwood
The American lumber consumers are starting to feel the effects of the import duties on Canadian softwood. The strong demand for wood and the record market prices that have taken place one after the US imposed the tariffs on Canadian softwood lumber still hasn't affected the Canadian producers.
