The price of EN plus wood pellets in Germany during October 2016 reached an average of EUR 226.37/tonne. This represents a 0.9% increase as compared to September 2016 and a -3.2% decline over September 2015.
Wood pellets have a price advantage over natural gas of around 28.5% and of 17.1% to heating oil, as shown in the data provided by the German Energy Wood and Pellet Association (DEPV).
