Softwood lumber prices in Germany remained broadly stable at the beginning of 2026, with most transactions for standard construction grades concluded at levels close to those seen in the final months of 2025. Price negotiations continued to focus on specification, drying, grading and delivery terms, with little movement at the headline level.
