Price of wood pellets drops in Germany
The price of wood pellets in Germany has decreased in the spring of 2016. As the German Energy Wood and Pellet Association (DEPV) reports, pellets currently cost on average 231.89 EUR / t, decreasing by 3.2% compared to the previous month. As compared to last year, wood pellets prices dropped 5.1%. One kilogram of pellets currently costs 23.19 cents a kilowatt-hour (kWh) of heat from pellets of 4.63 cents.
