France: First CLT tower buildings to be built in Bordeaux
Two tall timber buildings will be constructed in Bordeaux, France. The first wooden towers in the county will reach 50m and 57m in height and will be developed in the center of Bordeaux Euratlantique, according to Global Construction Review. “Hypérion”, the 18-storey project (57m), will have 82 apartments and will be built by Eiffage, specialist wood contractor Woodeum, social landlord Clairsienne and architect Jean-Paul Viguier & Associés.
