Finland’s softwood lumber exports on the rise; boost in raw wood imports from Latvia
Finland's export volume of softwood lumber increased last October from a year ago. A total of more than 700,000 cubic meters of lumber were exported from Finland, which is a good 60,000 cubic meters more than a year earlier. Almost 340,000 cubic meters of spruce lumber were exported, and approximately 300,000 cubic meters of pine. 65,000 cubic meters of plywood were exported. It is slightly more than in September, but almost 10,000 cubic meters less than a year earlier in October.   ...
