Finland: Roundwood purchases from forests up by 13%; prices remain stable
In January-August, the members of the Finnish Forest Industries Federation purchased 19.8 million cubic meters of roundwood from private forests, which was 11% more than the average of ten years in the corresponding period. The volume of sawlogs purchased by the members of the Finnish Forest Industries Federation was about one per cent lower than the corresponding period last year and the average purchasing volume for the ten-year average has increased by 11 per cent.
