Finland: Metsä Group sells sawn timber upgrading business
Metsä Group's parent company Metsäliitto Cooperative agreed on 13 November 2014 on the sale of the fixed assets and real estate used by the Kaskinen upgrading unit and the remaining Metsä Wood sawn timber upgrading (impregnated wood) business in Finland to Aureskosken Jalostetehdas Oy.    In connection with this, the ThermoWood operations in Kaskinen will be further integrated into Metsä Wood’s timber business.
