European softwood lumber exports to China see 43% increase during 1H/2017
The value of the European softwood lumber exports to China has increased by 43% during the first half of 2017, as compared to the same period last year. Europe has thus exported 1,77 million m3 worth of softwood lumber, to China, as compared to 1,23 million m3 in 2016. The biggest exporter was Finland, with 953,697 m3 worth of lumber, followed by Sweden and Germany.
