European sawmills delivered 4 million m3 of softwood lumber to the US in 2018
European softwood lumber exports to the USA continued to rise in 2018, although the pace of growth was significantly lower as compared to the previous year. Thus, from January to November 2018, European shipments to the US increased by 17 % (up to 3.95 million cubic meters). In January-December 2017, softwood lumber deliveries from Europe to the US were up by 77% as compared to the same period of 2016.
