Estonia: Sharp fall in sawlog and pulpwood prices
Roundwood prices in Estonia are starting to feel the pressure of the bark beetle crisis in Europe, although Estonia hasn't been affected by the infestation; Pine sawlog prices dropped by -8%, while the decline in spruce prices was more pronounced. At EUR 63.3/m3, spruce sawlog price was around 17% lower in December 2019 as compared to a year ago.
