Enviva receives permit for 1.4 million mt/yr wood pellet plant in Mississippi
The 1.4 million metric tons production will be exported to power plants in Europe and Asia. U.S. pellet producer Enviva was granted permission to build a new pellet mill in the state of Mississippi. Location of the new mill is Lucedale in the south eastern part of the state. Enviva is going to produce 1.4 million metric tons of industrial pellets annually there.
