Sweden: decreasing prices for sawlog and pulpwood prices in 2013
Statistics for the 4th quarter 2013 shows a small increase in prices compared to previous quarter, but annual prices for 2013 decreased compared to 2012, the Swedish Forest Agency reported.    Sawlog prices decreased by 6 percent in 2013 compared to 2012. The fall in prices were relatively even between region South, Middle and North and between the tree species pine and spruce.    Pulpwood prices decreased by 8 percent during 2013.
