Central/West Africa: Good demand from Asia still not enough to rise logs and sawnwood prices
Central and West Africa buyers for the Chinese market continue to be active and producers report that the level of orders suggests there are no signs of a slowing in demand in this market. Also, business with Middle East importers is brisk, producers say. However, despite the positive buying signs, there has been little opportunity for increases in FOB prices.
