The Canada-based West Fraser company has awarded Büttner the contract to replace the existing Bison drum type 5.0 x 25 along with other components for the site in Cowie (Scotland), formerly owned by Norbord (acquired by West Fraser in 2021).  Büttner’s scope of delivery will include a high-efficiency Büttner drum dryer type 5.4 x 25 R as well as a new drum drive and bearing units, a brick-lined mixing chamber and various ducts.
