Austria is launching € 400 million forest aid packages
On June 16, Austria launched a package for tax relief for agriculture and for investments in climate-friendly forestry in the amount of € 400 million. € 50 million fall under tax relief and € 350 million under investment aid in forestry. Minister of Agriculture Elisabeth Köstinger describes the measure as the largest investment package in the domestic forest in the history of Austria.
