Special tariffs and tips for easing goods registration dominated the presentations and discussions at the 2025 Foreign Trade Day of the German Timber Trade Association (GD Holz) in Bremen. As always, the implementation of the EU Regulation for Deforestation-Free Supply Chains (EUDR) remained a hot topic during the department meetings and roundtable sessions. The annual timber trade meeting in Bremen kicked off once again with the department meetings. The experts from the overseas timber sector focused on collaboration with customs offices and held lively discussions with Dr. Carsten Weerth and Andreas Heuer from the Bremen Customs Office, who, in turn, gained insights on topics such as the EUDR and offered valuable tips.
