Rising roundwood prices in Sweden
According to new data from the Swedish Forest Agency, roundwood prices rose sharply in the second quarter of 2025. Prices for sawlogs increased by 9%, and pulpwood prices by 7% compared to the first quarter. The statistics come from a new, expanded survey introduced by the agency in early 2025, aimed at providing more comprehensive coverage of delivery forms and assortments. Companies purchasing roundwood from forest owners reported prices for measured volumes by assortment and delivery form.
