Estonia: Roundwood prices sharply up

Almost all assortments of roundwood in Estonia have become significantly more expensive in January 2014 on a yearly basis. However, there are some exceptions: birch veneer is far cheaper than a year ago, while birch and aspen pulpwood have registered price declines up to -7%. For the rest, prices have seriously increased: spruce logs are more than 16% up, pine logs prices surged more than 8%, while aspen logs rose almost 7%.
